Sonora is the largest graphite producer in Mexico, with a potential of 13,000,000 tons of amorphous graphite
Lucent Graphite Highlights
- The orebodies structures are approximately 500m to 1,000m long, by 3m to 5m wide, by 120m deep; semi-vertical 80° with a fault that slightly shifts the body to the SW located in a privileged area geologically and strategically (comparable only to deposits in Russia and China according to USGS reports)
- In an approximate count in one of the 4 explored orebodies, we have 405,000 tons at +75% graphite content with potential of a total of +1,500,000 tons since there are 4 to 6 unexplored underground orebodies structures that run parallel to the current production orebody.
- Upside potential to increase the mineral resources by performing surface mapping work and low-cost short drilling at 50-80m depth. It is known that the deeper we explore, the graphite carbon content increases.
- In addition, our survey of other metals and minerals has revealed a conservative estimate of 128,000 ounces of Gold.
